On Friday, March 14, 2025, Altius Insurance successfully held its annual educational seminar at the POED building. The event unfolded in an atmosphere of creativity, professionalism, and meaningful dialogue, reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to the development of its human capital.

The seminar brought together insurance advisors and company executives, underscoring the importance of continuous education as a fundamental tool for advancing insurance intermediation.

The event was inaugurated by the Sales Manager, Mr. Polis Prokopiou, who offered a profound perspective on the professional role of the advisor, describing it as both a “mission and a vocation.” He emphasized the importance of personal responsibility in professional development, advocating for lifelong learning as an essential prerequisite for growth and success.

Next, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Doukas Palaiologos, presented the company’s strategic objectives, highlighting that the advisor network is the central pillar of growth. He announced the continuation of a generous €500,000 loyalty bonus and unveiled a new strategic partnership with Astro Bank—two initiatives that reinforce Altius’s commitment to qualitative growth beyond market averages.

The agenda was enriched by a presentation from Mr. Leonidas Alexandrou on emerging trends in the insurance market and the importance of consultative selling. Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic approach to Generation Z and the value of emotional intelligence in effectively communicating with clients.

Personal narratives shared by Altius insurance advisors brought a human dimension to the seminar. Participants reflected on their daily professional experiences, touching on critical topics such as handling rejection, boosting self-confidence, and efficiently organizing their client base. A clear link was established between client acquisition and personal confidence as a fundamental driver of success.

A particularly moving moment came with the presence of Mr. Dimitris Lamprianidis, President of OPAK, who shared his personal journey with disability and illness. Through an emotionally powerful speech, he highlighted the importance of autonomy and prevention through insurance, deeply moving the audience.

A subsequent panel discussion addressed practical issues such as effective time management, innovative client engagement strategies through social media, and techniques for coping with professional rejection.

Artificial intelligence was also a key topic of the seminar. Mr. Zachos Anthis presented its applications within the insurance sector, analyzing how technology can transform the industry, offering new opportunities for both professionals and clients.

The event concluded with a speech by Mr. Evangelos Anastasiadis, who outlined the company’s progress, announcing Altius Insurance’s rise to fourth place in the life insurance market and an improvement in its solvency ratio. He expressed his satisfaction with the onboarding of new, dynamic professionals who bring vision and a passion for learning to the company.
