Altius Insurance Limited, ex-Alpha Insurance Ltd, was founded in Cyprus on May 6, 1993.On January 16, 2015, Alpha Insurance came entirely under the control of a group of investors led by Mr. Doukas Paleologos, with the participation of a significant number of the Firm’s Managers, and was renamed to “ALTIUS INSURANCE.”

Providing the full range of the related services: life insurance, non-life (general) insurance and health insurance.In the life insurance field, Altius Insurance offers high-quality integrated products fully meeting all individual and family needs.
In the non-life (general) insurance sector, our Company offers its clients a wide range of fully-personalized benefits adapting to each individual case: insurance programs for fire, theft, home, office and shop insurance coverages, public, employers and professional liability, travel accident and cargo insurance, computers insurance, motor and yacht insurance.
Altius Insurance is consisted by specialized professionals with many years of experience in both the Life and Health Sector, as well as in the General Insurance (Personal and Business).
Our Company is represented all the cities of Cyprus, with nine branches and a rather extended network, operating through several agents and insurance consultants. Also, the Company’s products are also available through Alpha Bank’s branch network in Cyprus, in accord with the Bancassurance agreement made with Alpha Bank.Furthermore, Altius Insurance has long-term collaborations with several globally active Reinsurer Firms, such as Swiss Re, Scor Re, Mapfre Re, Hannover Re, Munich Re, etc.
The Company is a member of the Insurance Association of Cyprus (IAC) and is represented on the board by its CEO. The management team is involved in almost all the committees of the Association, as well as the board of the Motor Insurers’ Fund (MIF), Cyprus Hire Risk Pool (CHRP) and the Coinsurance Group for Intermediaries’ Professional Indemnity Insurance (O.S.E.D.A.).
